Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful Elky, but shouldn't it have SUNKIST stamped on it somewhere? My 69' Coronet 440 R/T was the same color with a flat black hood. If I can remember that far back, the color was known as Hemi Orange from Dodge.

When I first painted mine hugger orange, I thought good god that's to bright! It grew on me & now I am glad I did. I would not have it any other way. :cool:

that orange one is awesome! theres a kid around here that has a '78 elky that was painted with orange rhino-liner. at least it will last forever!

funny my 81/84 camino is orange too it came that way when i got it .
it was origanally black from the factory put the kid i got it from had it painted orange .personally i hate it but it gets lots of looks unfortunately some of those looks are from the cops : (
my engine used to get very hot and the heat had nowhere to go so i put camaro vents in my front fenders to let it breathe a bit better and it looks pretty kool too
