Ok, it's getting late, most of the kiddies are asleep or at least off the computer, and I've had a gallon or so of good wine with good friends and loved ones.

It's a good time to share a theory I have about Santa, but only if you don't tell any children. Ready?

Santa is a MAFIA DON!

Recall the Godfather movies. What does the Godfather do? He walks through the neighborhood on special occasions with his "helpers" always available. He is extra nice to the kiddies - giving them candy and money and presents. The parents have to go along, but, they know if the Don doesn't get his "cut" there will be consequences.

Sounds like Santa to me. May Don Santa always bring youse guys candy and stuff - you too Snaggleto0th.
