How do i change my cluster parts,,, I basically want to keep all my gauges,,, and use the new cluster box...

The new cluster has lights instead gauges that i currently have and it has a clock,,, I have tach that doesn't work...

Whats the easiest way to make a switch without screwing this up...

THE DASH CLUSTER I BOUGHT HAS THE SAME NUMBER OF PINS THAT THE ONE I CURRENTLY HAVE INSTALLED!!!

I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE TACH,, I MIGHT INSTALL AN AFTERMARKET TACH LATER!!!

They are not interchangable. You can't put gauges into an idiot light cluster.

Excuse my ignorance;;Maybe i posted the question incorrectly...

I don't want to use the gauges with the idiot light, i want to use my own gauges!!

I want to know if I can transfer everything (including the printed circuit) to the dash cluster with idiot light,,, after i take out the idiot stuff.

So in other words I will use my printed circuit and my gauges in the new cluster.
