Well ya'll know she was up for sale. Well that day happened! She is no longer with me anymore, the dad sold it to a kid I believe 18 years old kid. I actually have a old store manager that called me up an hour after it sold and told me he seen my car and asked about it. The kid lives across the street from him so he can tell me if its going down the drain or if he keeps it nice like I did.

For those of you who haven't seen my girl.

She will be missed!! But I need the money for tools for my soon up coming job that I dont have yet. I am trying still to get into the BMW S.T.E.P. program which will be more schooling for me then a job with BMW.

To all that have helped me with ehr since the beginning thanks again! Now to get settled with an older Elky so i don't have to smog. Me thinks a 70-72.

Well it sucks that you had to git rid of her I know it was hard. Hopefully she will go to a good home. The good thing is that with the money you will be able to get your tools, which will allow you to get a good paying job, which will allow you to get another elky because it all about the elky.

Damn, I would of let you use some of my Checker Auto tools. But they don't always get every thing right.LOL I believe I have something of every brand of tool ever made. Well your next project will be a little smoother with all of that knowledge that you have soaked up.

You already know this, but a lot of tools don't really wear out. You don't have to get every thing off the truck. Guys retiring, newspaper ads, garage sales, flea markets, eBay and second hand tool stores are good bets. I have bought a lot of high quality stuff from pawn shops.

As always you have our support and a large cheering section.

Hey Anduh,

Doug is right, You can get a lot of tools for a whole lot less than new if you look around. That saves mucho bucks for the "new" Elky. We all look forward to seeing what you get.

Anduh, I am sorry to hear that you have parted with your El Camino but you are working to a longer term plan.

Good luck with your career and in finding a replacement El Camino.

Yep, I know how ya feel. I still have the memory of my '78 driving away burned into my brain. But, I loaded up and brought home my new '80 elky project today. And it all starts again!
