: fabricating 1/4 panels

has anyone tried to make panel or had any made? doesnt look like going around wheel wells would be to bad to do.if anyone has any input on this i would appreciate it.

Made the right rear panel on my 66, It was a bit of work. Used pieces of oak and steel shapes to hammer it out. All said and done it turned out exactly like the original and fit right into place. I used cardboard to make the pattern with the appropriate overlap all the way around. I have pics on disk if you would like to take a look. Going around the wheel wells would be a bit harder and I would probably buy a replacement panel if I had to do that section.

the wells are savable with a litllr putty but right side in front of wells is shot.bought panels for my 74 nova that was backed into last night and trashed locally. the panels for my885 is unavilable with them.

Check all my catalogs, nothing available after 1972 on the lower front corner. If the 72 panel can be made to work, it's available for 29.95 from NPD. :-)

Dont forget about JcWhitney.com, They have entire quarter panels for 100 bux each, if what i read was correct.
