As poltergeist can attest I have tried off and on for a year to get an album set up in the gallery with no luck. Got stubborn and wouldn't email him the photos - one of those I want to do it myself things. I decided to try again and Bingo - worked like a top except it still says untitled even after I changed the name a couple of times.
Does this mean after 5 or 6 years my weird elky could possibly be chosen as the ride of the week?
If you changed something - THANKS - if you didn't at least it worked for me now.
Some of you other guys that have had trouble in the past should try again. We do want to see your rides.

Thats a pretty sharp elky. Where did you get those fender ports. I've been thinking about doing something similer.

Hey Neil, Congrats bud. As for having your ride 'featured', Rob should wait till your a mod, then all the 'flack' can start up again. That surely will be a deserving ride though. As a sidenote, I can't title my albums either.

Hey 464, How much does just the bare frame weigh (no suspension or anything)? I'll have mine to that stage by tommorow if weather permits.

Where did you put the album? The link doesn't work and I don't see it at the end of the 5th gen area. You didn't put it in someone else's album did you?

Well Poltergeist as you can see from the responses it worked last night. I noticed it had been viewed 9 times while I was still uploading pictures. It is gone this morning. It was on page 50 I think.

Hansmanbo I think your right. I must have set the self delete too short of a time period. :(

1badelky, the frame doesn't weigh much. You can pick one end up or flip it over by yourself with no problem. Me and a buddy carried it around when sandblasting. I have a picture of it hanging from a bicycle hook.

n1earnhrt, I ordered them at the Buick dealership. o6 lucerne or lecross. Can't remember which. $39.15 each. part#s 21997255 and 21997256

EDIT: 6PM EST 01/21/08 OK I made another one just to see what happens. I put one picture in it. Here is the url

Cole, I looked at a bunch of different fender ports before deciding on the Buick ones. IMO the Caddy ones were too tall to flow into the lines of the fender.

Thanks everybody.

NEIL, it must have been a little frustrating to not be able to get an album started for a car that took one large amount of engineering to build. Lets see which was more difficult ? NEED a POLE for that one. The real reason that you could not get the album on was "The famous BLACK list, better known as the cooler car list or better engineered list" but it is nice to know that you have been alowed to become a 5th GEN ALBUM HOLDER.

congrates The EL BUICK has landed

That kinda what I'm afraid of but I want to try and hold one up to the car before I make a finale decision. Though I have been on a building kick here lately may be I'll try and create something.

Neil, congratulations on finally getting your album established and of course on the pictorial records of how you did your amazing transformation and the end results. WOW.
