Might help to give us some idea as to why you need more vacuum for your brakes and why a replacement for your stock booster won't do.

Well I converted to 4 wheel disk brakes and my cam is a bit big, Im running 12" in the front and 11" on rear. I was told to change my booster because Im not creating enough vacume to stop my elco. Also Im running a single style booster at the moment but I was woundering if I could change it to a dual diaphram style.

My experience has been that if you don't have enough for a single you won't have enough for a dual either. You might have to try adding a vacumn pump or look into a hydraboost system.

Ditto on that last reponse. A vaccum pump or at least a vacuum reserve canister like you can get from Jegs or Summit can help that out. Either way a bigger booster just means needing a bigger vacuum signal.

Another option is an aftermarket setup from Master Power or Baer.
Perhaps that's the kind of setup you were referring to initially?
They have setups that work on Drag cars and rods with 4 wheel discs. They have boosters that don't need as much signal to be effective.
I've got such a system on a 69 Firebird that was converted from 4 wheel Drums to 4 wheel discs.
Anyway here's a link to Master Power's site...

Well thanks guys, I ordered a Dual diaphram booster with a Corvette 1- 1/8 M/C and I will go ahead and buy a vaccume resierve canister to help it all out, I also went ahead and purchased a proportioning valve. I see how everything worked out. Thanks once again.
