Hey, I'm from the daytona Beach area. I have a 1984 El camino. I see lots of them around here, it seems like i didn't see as many before. I'm in my last year of high school, and during this year i went from the only one with a camino, to 1 of 3, lol. Then about a block away there are two that are right across the street form each other, lots of el camino's around here. I'm glad to say mine is one of the nicer looking ones though. 8) . But that could just be my opinion. I finally took a few pic's of mine today, hopefully these will work, first time trying to post pics

hey,i live in seminole, fla. (west of tampa, at the gulf.. musta left notes on 80 elkys, looked at around 50 more. alas a guy in st. pete weakened and sold me his 84 quista for 1500. a lot to like not perfect but a solid piece. yes, i broke my cherry, now have to get to work on it. any tips on basics, i.e. dash cleaning (original) new carpet and back curtain and sources for all the other stuff. also if you see any more elkys on the street for sale let me know. just 4 hours away. what a great vehicle. happy holidays.
