Anyone who has first hand experience with a decent auto machine shop in the west OKC area (west of the I44, preferably) please post a reply.
Needing to get a block prepped for a rebuild and don't want to trust some bubba right out of Vo-tech with the detail work.
Thanks,
Kurt

Hey man, I resemble that remark! You know, if you took it to the Vo-tech and let them do it for class. You could have a supervised bubba do it and get a sweet deal.

Munch, munch *me eating my words*
Never thought about that. So many Vo-techs around, I should take a looksee and maybe find a decent program.
Since I'm not in any time constraints, might be a good way to go.
I do recall back in LA (early 70's), LA Trade Tech would do auto work for you for just parts costs, but it may have taken them awhile, depending on how "popular" your car was.
Old Chevy's got worked on the most/fastest....this was East LA afterall.
Thanks for the tip.
