I didn't get anything specifically for the car, except an emergency kit, some nice cleaning stuff, and a nice car vacume. All stuff I'll get a lot of use of, except hopefully not that emergency kit :)

Merry Christmas everyone.
I got a Flex-a-lite dual electric fan setup for my car. Woohoo, I get 15hp refund!
My dad got an aluminum racing jack and I bought him a 122pc. Craftsman tool set with the huge laser engraved markings. Nice and easy to read, so no more squinting when looking for tools!

I must've been REALLY good this year, as I got a MIG welder, ARC welder, complete car stereo (to replace the non-exhistant stereo in the Sprint now), and an oxy/acetelene welding/cutting set-up. Oh, and of course I got the usual clothes that are destined to be stained with oil, grease, and anything else I can find.

We don't exchange gifts anymore because we pretty much take care of each other throughout the year...so it's kinda like Christmas year round! Including car parts :D

The one thing we did do for ourselves was to upgrade our twenty something year old stereo system with a new 700 watt Sony home theater system...this thing rocks (literally!) Also added a new turntable for all our old vinyl too. This is the funny part! My 22-year-old son asked "How do you change tracks?" Lift the needle!, doh! :P

HAHA! I feel your pain. The first time we had a big project for the Camino, my dad and I both said "is half this car metric and the other half standard?!?!"

It's a pain in the butt!

:D I got a dashcover, new trim, new door and rail gaaskets, a car cover, a power antenna, and a new molded carpet set. I must have been better than I thought this year. I did not get the chrome valve covers i practically begged for, so i must have been a little bad :? I guess that will give me incentive to behave more next year, (although Santa brought my wife a 1 carat diamond necklace that cost as much as my Elky did when I bought it). I have now dedicated myself to adding more bling-bling to my Elky to compete with that diamond. 8)

Got my complete weatherstrip kit, body bushing kit, radiator support bushing kit, and 4 brand new Crager Super Spoke rims, new door hinges, and new hood hinges with springs. Last but not least a new 50 piece air tool set to help change all this stuff out. It's gonna be a busy New Year.

The only Elky-related gifts I got were an electric blanket (which doesnn't have a long enough cord to go to the bed for when I REALLY need it  ) and a tire repair kit with first aid and yadda yadda in it. Hopefully the tire kit won't be needed, but then you know what they say -- if you don't have it, you'll need it, and if you get it, you won't need it anymore!

And I guess I can't forget the money I'm going to be using for gas and parts once I get my license (one week till my test!) and all the parts my dad bought that I might not have to pay for! Didn't get my window seals or seat covers like I asked for, or a stereo for that matter...But then again, I can find excuses to get those!

I got a 100 amp, brand new, chrome case alternator. I really needed to upgrade the electric output.

And it's really shinny and cool looking!

Thanks to my wife, Margo.
