Welp, Newbie here......

My wife and I just bought a '81 El Camino today. It has a custom white paint job with red & black stripes, custom gauges & steering wheel, fresh upholstry, a big ole' 350 v-8 with 4 bolt mains, a mild cam, edlebrock aluminum intake, 4 barrell carb, headers, duel exhaust with Flowmaster muffs. Overall the car is in pretty good shape and needs a little tlc here and there. Leaving the house right now to go pick it up and I will have some pictures up today...

I look forward to meeting some new people and learning a bunch of tricks in and around this car.

Welcome to the site. sounds like you got a nice find there. Maybe you can make it over to Ol Town on March 1 and join us. A bunch of FL elky freaks are getting together. There are a couple of threads in the region 6 forum about it.

Hey, welcome indeed and congratulations on such a cool find. 40 minutes from Old Town means you just absolutely have to be there on the 1st right?

Where exactly are you? I think I'm a bit over an hour from Old Town. I stay in Port St. John. It's right next to Titusville.

I am sure that you will have a good time and not get to meet some hard core Elco enthusiasts but you will als get to meet some really cool people.

My plan was to go 528 West to 417 towards Kissimmee. I can take Colonial (50th) to the 417 then head towards Kissimmee. Anyone else want in? El Dawgg where you at? Send me a text when you get a minute. Thanks.

Thanks for the compliments bro... Actually My wife will be able to make it with me. The car needs ALOT of work, trust me... BUT it is a good canvas to start with...

What time is everybody meeting up at Old Town?? She gets off at 4 so it would be around 5 - 5:30 before we got there
