I am looking to get something going this summer in Fort Wayne. I was wondering if anyone was close to Fort Wayne and interested in sharing ideas sometime?

Greetings, just read your post from February. I'm from Upland, halfway between FW and Indy. I too would like to see something happen, although this summer may already be too late. However, maybe not.

I've been to limited shows in the past (something I am attempting to alter this summer) so not sure what to expect. I plan on driving up to your area with my wife on June 8th to check out a local club I heard of that has invited me to drop by at a cruise in. If you are interested, perhaps we could touch base there. Let me know and I can get you more input.

BTW, mine is an '83 SS which is itching to get out even with high gas prices. I recently put an LT1 and 4L60E drivetrain in it, so you can see why I am looking for excuses to drive. (I am a college prof and LOVE summers!)

LIBERTY CRUISERS CAR CLUB


This family oriented car club was formed in 2000 to encourage idea and information exchange, fraternization and association with other car clubs and involvement with community activities and to help other car owners with their cars. We have monthly meetings and cruise-ins, mystery cruises, a Christmas party and meet as a group to attend other cruise-ins and car shows. Currently we host a car show sponsored by the Army/Navy Union of Fort Wayne, IN.

Restrictions: Our club is open to all vehicles. You do not have to have a vehicle to belong, but it is encouraged.

Sounds like a good time. I will definently be there. I hope to have my Caballero back from paint and have all my other goodies installed. if not I will just need to drive my camaro there. Either way I will be there
