the woodlike trim pieces on my 85, the ones around the headlight switch and the other plain one under the dash vents and the long one just above the radio and glove box are faded and have lost the shine. Like they have been washed a LOT. I can still see the simulated grain or lines in them but the sheen is gone.

has anyone ever brought those back? Any suggestions for making them look good again?
I'd hate to experiment on them...... 8O .....might make them look a lot worse. Hoping someone has already solved this.
