This what is known as the Body Trim Plate (aka cowl tag)

74 - 1974 Model year
1AD80 - Chevrolet El Camino Classic Pickup
Z - Assembly plant for For Fremont CA Assembly
076275 - Body serial number

714 a65 55 e
714 - Interior trim code Lite neutral cloth seat trim
A65 - seat code for Bench seat with arm rest
55 - Paint color code for Sandstone
E - Vinyl top color is Cream-Beige

10c 076275 450106
10C - Production Month/Week; 10=Oct, C=3rd week of
076275 450106 - Data processing sequence number. A computer generated number used to id the body for scheduling etc. Means nothing once the car gets built but in the plant would cross reference back to the broadcast system (computer that ran the plant).

Also its registered as a commercial vehicle, what does this mean? Cheaper insurance or registration? Anything good about it?

Commercial vehicles are those owned and used for business purposes. Each state handles vehicles differently. Most likely it was owned by a business rather than in a individuals name.

More likely cost more to insure and higher license fees but like I said, every state is different.

You must be located in Calif. Anything with a cargo bed is "commercial". It means you get to pay "weight fees" in addition to your registration. Probably $24.00
