What can I use to get dried tree sap off the car??

A clay bar is your best bet, you'll find the kit at most automotive part stores.

I always used a little disel fuel on a rag works good :cool:

Mineral spirits.
Works VERY good and will NOT harm your finish.

Goof Off or Goo Gone. Not sure how safe they are for the paint though.

don't:neutral2: think goo gone or any of those products are good for your paint.. just try mineral spirits? never tried it.. but if clay bar didn't work.. scratch it off with your nail :D or scrub the **** outta it try blow drying it to dry it out and then scrape it off..

I third the mineral spirits. Just wash and wax it real good when your done as the stuff will strip all of that off.

I've also had good results with window cleaner when it's fresh, but same deal - get a coat of wax on it right after cleanup.
