New member here , my name is Dave sounds like Im opening a meeting of El Camino's anonymous. I have had three 3rd gens in the last 38 years.The last being a 71 ss 454. I will be laid to rest in that car[wife dosn't know that yet] Also be posting some pictures if anyone cares, need to get my 18 year olds help on that, not to computer savy. But do look forword to putting in my two cents when I can. Thanks for letting me in, at least someone understands.

Welcome to the site Dave, you surely will enjoy it. I think some of our younger people came out of the birth cannel computer savvy.
For some of us older guys/gals it was a struggle and for some of us we had enough geek DNA it came pretty easy. I believe people that work on their vehicles and also use manuals and schematics have a little head start on using computers. :)

WOW, 3 x 3rd gens 8O That is impressive and you have settled on a real classic with the 454.
On the 'puter front, I work in IT and have done for >35 years but I am having trouble keeping up these days too.
