my doors are a bit tuff on the bottoms and i can get a set of doors of a 79 cutlas will they fit ? if not beside the 2 door malibu will any other doors work like say from a le mans or a gran prix
the malibu and el camino's up here in toronto are usuall #@%&*ed up do to all the roadsalt used up here in the winters .
any help is appreciated thanks

The bodylines are different on the 79 Cutlass...they will bolt on along with just about any other G-body doors but they won't look right because of the bodylines. The 2 door Malibu doors will work fine except you'll have to swap the glass from your Elky. I believe that the 79-81 A body Lemans doors will work also, but once again you'll have to swap glass. Grand Prix...no, once again because of the bodylines. Try Mikes Montes in Ohio (aka>Maks Montes on Ebay) if your having problems finding doors up there in Canada...they will find you doors but the expense of them plus the shipping to Canada may be a bit much if not outrageous. 8O

thanks for the answer . there is a place here in toronto called the chop shop that brings in parts from down south but their prices are very high .
i might wait till spring carlisle and see if i can get a good set down there .

is there a secret for replacing the door bushings on the 85 elky. The drivers side is sagging and saw the top busing moving, so I bout all four today when I take the door off. But I wanted to know what not to do? Take the door off and the hinge from the side frame or work with it on? Thanks a new kid on the block.
