Yes 3 older elco's was a treat nice rides. Talked with Jumping Jack that night he said there were over 160 cars at the cruise and the biggest crowd ever.

We missed you at the micosukee car show. Must of been 8, 10 elcos at the show. Also must of been like 300+ cars at the show they were turning cars away before 12 noon. OMG some nice rides man it was something else to see. In-addition some many nice bodies :cool: but Al let me tell you it was "HOT" out there.

They even had this guy playing with alligators too cool. Great food, full buffet on the second floor of the hotel. Alot of the guys were gambling on the first floor. It was just a very cool day for a car nut.

Awards were strange they only issued 1st place awards...
John in the packard took best Antique 1st place
I took best Chevy 1975 to 2008 1st place

Not to bad I think lol. The beach cruise I think I'm going Russ e-mailed me acouple of days ago with the OK it's pre 74 thing...but he asked me to bring out the "Aero' so I'll see you there man...have a great week.

Taking the back roads to the Oceans 11 beach saturday night cruise meet you there man.

Neil no the awards are all in boxes now..one day lol. I can only wish my elco will be done sometime this year. Hope it comes out at least 80% as nice as yours..... :cool:

Hey Larry, Congradulations on your award in your Monte Carlo!! Seeing it at Moroso for the Super Chevy Show I can appreciate why you won. Glad to see you guys have been able to meet up at some shows. I hope my trans replacement will be ready by the end of the month. Hope you all have fun at the Oceans 11 show.

Hi guys
I just got home from work about an hour ago drove the elky to the shop today in the afternoon I decided to change the cap,wires,rotor, valve covers, oil change and air cleaner. I installed the black crinkle set from GM performance and what should had been a couple of hours at worst turned out to be an all afternoon job between working on it and taking care of bussines, then things got complicated when the valve cover did not give me enough room either for the compressor side or the alternator side. I had to modify the alternator bracket and had to almost remove the compressor talk about tight fit, had to buy a longer belt for the alternator then I had to move the actual lower alternator bracket so that it could clear the power steering belt, holy mother of the lord man I thought that we would never finish we just kept running into more and more complications, anyhow I finally finished it and then it was too late for me to go to the tower shops and I am exhausted. Sorry for the long story I would like to post picts but I have not been able figure it out yet....
