The area under my gauges and around the steering wheel dash plate is sort of a medium brown. It matches the rest of the dash. My RPO says saddle for the interior,so I ordered a can of saddle paint,but that is to light. The saddle DOES match the rest of the interior,but not around the dash itself.Does anyone know what that color specification is? I have bought several cans of various brown that (by the cap color) looks as if it will match.But when I try it on a piece of scrap,it doesn't blend in at all.

Dave,Do you have any pictures of your interior. I had the same problem. There are three colors that are close,palamino,saddle and camel. Go to Dixie Monte Carlo website in the vendors forum. In the interior or dash section they have a color chart. Let me know what the color it is. I have a can of palomino I can,t use I'll ship to you for postage only.

saddle would be the interior as far as carpeting, seats, headliner etc

have you decoded all of the rpo codes on yours ?

maybe you have missed it ?

I'm still looking for the darker tan/light brown color for my dash. The interior is saddle,but not the dash or dash face. I have emailed all the El Camino stores and they don't know either. The El Camino Store does have dash faces,but their dark Saddle still looks like the light Saddle to me.
