are pegged out full scale anytime power is applied.

Anyone know of any common problems that cause this? Far as I can tell the Oil sender appears normal ohm wise (but I don't know the specs so I could be wrong) but Im only getting about 9V to the sender.

Common short circuit locations maybe?

A common cause would be an open ground anywhere from the gauge terminals to the gnd. wire for the cluster. Possibly both sender wires to the gauges are open. The common gnd. is more likely.

The senders both read 0-90 ohms. The op is much more linear tho.
OIL= 1psi / OHM
Fuel= 0/empty 90/ full.
If it's within 5-10% it's ok.

A simple test for your gauges is to remove the wire from the sender. The needle should sweep to full or max op. Grounding the sender wire should cause the needle to sweep to empty or min. op.
