I'm gonna take you back about a year ago when it happened.
I'm driving to my girlfriends Graduation at Bayside High School in my 86 elky when the worst damn thing could happen.
My dream was shattered.
May 19, 2007. 8:32 A.M. I was rear ended by a full size dodge pickup and was pinned between it and a Saturn(a month later the owner of the Saturn calls me up and asks me if I know anything about transmissions, I went over and looked under his car...he asked "what's wrong with my transmission?", I said "you don't have one....").
I bent the rear end of the frame on the Saturn(plastic cars, I swear....) and completely obliterated the front end of the Dodge. My truck? You can view here, The El Camino Album at myspace. (http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=13570115&albumId=618379)
So I cried. I cried like grown men do. You would, too, if your dream was shattered while you were in it!
My rear end was bent....the frame before the rear axle was bent. So, I wanted to get it straightened out, but a certain auto body company is a piece of **** and never got back to me, so they can go screw themselves, I just decided I would park it.
I parked it for a while and started to miss it completely. So I junked my Jeep that I was driving, and got the elky back on the road. Well, this week I fixed the problem.
I was towing a Japanese Muscle car(that's right, Supra Mark III, they ARE known as J.M......stock it can reach over 150 mph). Well, my ex girlfriend was at the back of the caravan when I called her up and told her to haul ass and open the gate, 'cuz I know I wasn't stopping for anything, especially when my driveway is dirt and I know I have problems with traction as it is. So, like a dumbass, she cuts out into oncoming traffic to pass me. I step on my brakes and, since the Supra is on a tow rope, my roommate had to pull the e-brake. My rear end was over 1 foot airborne. The pull was so hard that the frame straightened and untucked the tires.
So, I believe this week might actually be half worth a hoorah.
