i just replaced my stock gauges in my 1980 el with the up graded mcss style, but i'm still not happy, i have found some 1.5" gauges for temp oil pressure and volts, just not a fuel gauge does anybody know where i could find a 1.5" gas gauge

Are the 1.5" gauges stock or aftermarket? If aftermarket what brand?

well the stock gauges are 1.5 the only thing i've found in the aftermarket that size is from autometer, but i'm still looking for a fuel gauge in that size, if i find that i can convert all my gauges to after-market and still use stock instrument cluster

I just did a quick search for ya and didn't have a lot of luck. The smallest popular size (as you know) is 2". I'd suggest that ya hit the venders at a few shows and see if they can help ya out! http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c5/woeii//Smiles/fingersxed.gif

Have you contacted Autometer? Usually they make full sets of gauges to compliment each other, including the fuel gauge.
