I assume that when you say "the mechinic said he getting no reading from the computer" you mean he isn't reading any trouble codes?

Yes, there is a "Light Driver Module" (LDM). It provides a ground path for the "Service Engine Soon" (SES) lamp in the dash. The LDM gets a signal from the computer or "Engine Control Module" (ECM) to turn on the SES lamp. If the LDM is bad it could keep the SES lamp lit. The LDM is located under the RH side of the dash behind the glove box, taped to the instrument panel harness. It has four wires, black, yellow, pink/black, and white/green.
