I am eliminating the computer on my '87, it has factory gauges and the tach works fine. I will be switching distributors and am going to an aftermarket HEI, coil in cap type. My external coil has two connectors, gray and black with two wires coming out of each of them. Does anyone know which one of these wires should be connected to the tach terminal on the new distributor? I've already checked the other tach threads but couldn't find an answer. I've GOT to get the service manual for this thing.
