Anybody ever shaved the rear bumper of a '74, so the filler is gone ??

I know somebody did the front on a 4th Gen. The rear should be easier sicne it doesn't have the impact shocks to deal with.

I personally don't care much for the look though. Makes a flat front end look even flatter in my opinion. The rear would lose a lot of it's defintion and again in my opinion just wouldn't look right on such a big vehicle.

I have a DVD ov the "Overhaulin'" Episode called "Surfer Kid" and in that one I think they actually cut shortened the bumpers so they didn't stick out on the sides. Something like that would be cool.

FUNNY....this is why I finally came to this forum to ask that same ?

I have a 75' with the Laguna nose and the rear is just WRONG.

I was thinking of doing a"FOOSE" on the rear bumper but thought if someone makes a rear roll pan that would be easier

I guess i'll keep looking or maybe make one

Dang, you don't waste any time. Looks great! PLEASE keep us updated with pix.

I've been wanting one of these since he first started talking about it, and finally got the money sent last night. I can't wait!

I want your Laguna front end now to go with it... :)

EDIT: I just noticed you shaved all the bed trim. I like! I've been wanting to do that for years, but...

Wow, that is a sweet looking 75, Nick. Mayhem's rollpan looks great on there and so do those camaro wheels. Very nice!

The lines are pretty clean on it. Seems to go really well with the Laguna nose on it. It may look a bit different with paint though.

The biggest styling problem with 4th gens is that there's not a whole lot of definition to the rear end so smoothing it out may make it look a bit too rounded.

I guess frenching in taillights with a smooth rollpan is an option. I've seen frenched taillights on the corners of the bed quarters and a rolled pan and that looked pretty clean too.

Still, nice clean looking ride. I honestly don't think it would look as good without the Laguna front end though. The two tone paint job works well with the mods too.
