I know this has taken longer than expected but this school is killing me!

Anywho... my appointment to get my frame
stripped last night was a success. Friday I have an apt to drop off the
car for my frame to be cut and then another apt for monday for the
powder coating!

QUES!

So I went to guy today and then took a measuring tape to it. Essentially, if he cuts accross the weld line I am looking at about a 1.5" gain? Though this is significant... is there any greater gains I could be looking at?

I highlighted in red where we discussed cutting the frame... please have a look and let me know what you think! (If I can go further, if I am right on, etc)

Have you looked at www.maliburacing.com concerning this. You can cut all the way to the inner wall, but it's recommmended that you do some additional frame bracing for strength. Most cut to about the mark you've indicated, and although I haven't done it...yet...I believe that if you do go all the way to the innner wall then the inner wheelwell will be out farther than the frame, which would require mini tubs to take full advantage of the cut all the way to the inner wall. I think this only applies to Elkys, not any other G-bodies.
