sorry guys, i'm trying to get the hang of posting a picture but so far when it says insert a link, it actually puts in the whole link instead of a "complete picture" ? guess i gotta call my girl over to help me lol

post a pic in Photobucket, for example, then copy & paste the 'IMG' tag into your message.

Excuse me good sir, when i clicked on the link u provided it came up http 404 error...

Enlighten a dusted mind on how to do the pictures- i've never had to do this "pasting a link" before where i could just simply add/attach/insert a picture...

how about facebook? i only recently started but i do have a bunch of pictures there more than words lol

Photobucket is free, and there are other sites providing the same services (google, or poke around this site and you will see other sites associated with the pics posted here)

I've seen other methods of posting, but the 'IMG' tag method seems to work well.

Just logged into Photobucket and apparently they have made it easy to import from FACEBOOK into Photobucket.

I tried to post just the 'text' of the entire IMG link with quotes first so you could see it, but instead the picture posted twice....

Not sure why that isn't working for you....

Photobucket puts 4 different links at the bottom of each picture you upload

HTML code link
IMG link

This site shows at bottom of each page that 'IMG code is ON'

if you copy the entire IMG link listed below the desired photo from photobucket and then paste it into your post, you should get the desired results

What I do is, load your pic to photobucket, Put cursor on the pic you want & a box will show 4 lines. I use the second line (DIRECT LINK) click on that & it will copy it !!
Go to your post/thread & click on what looks like a yellow envelope with a stamp !! Click on it & remove the blue highlighted http:// & then right click the mouse & click paste then click OK ! You can click on preview post & see what you have !!

Basically the same, but I click on the IMG and then just PASTE into the text portion of the post I am doing,

..let see if I can help ya out...Ok,What I do is this,on the message board,on the bottom,click "Go Advance"..very go,now,do you see a "Paper clip" next to the "smiley" face.?....Click on the "Paper clip"...good..now you have a different menu called "Manage attachments"...ok,now you can pick a picture from your files.After you have selected the file you want, click on the button that says "Upload"..ok,with me so far..??..good..Now, where it says "Current attachments",click on the file under the "Current Attachments"..ok,now you should have a new window with your picture..next step,Now,at the top left corner,the address bar( The one that says; HTTP//www.ectect.),High light it by right click,( copy and paste is what going to happen at this point)..ok,back at the message board,look at the symbols and click
on "Insert image"button,as that menu comes up,it will be high lighted,at that point hit the "Backspace" button on your key board.now paste in the window and click "OK"..and..
