i posted this here because it seems to draw the most traffic...i am serching for my build sheet...i have read about guys finding them in many dif places in their cars...i have had no luck yet...i was hoping some of the 5th gen or more specificly 78' owners could help me out...my car was built in the LEEDS,MI plant...anyone know where it might be?

i found my RPO tag under the hood on the firewall .

yes i have my cowl tag ...but im wanting the original build sheet for documentation and...well,just because i guess....it would be nice to go with the car.

you can get an original invoice for $50 .. look under RPO decoding.

yea im considering it...but i figure i'll wait for now and try to elimanate evry possible place anyone can think of first.

From what I have heard you can find them under the seat in the springs,
under the headliner, or inside the door panels.
Never did find mine. But seeing how I have just about changed everything that I could in my ride, I now have my own build sheet. Intitled:
Built the way Chevy should have!!

yes you could not be more right my friends...but the time i get done she is gonna be pretty much a one of a kind,while still keeping that awesome el caminoessance!
