I am sorry to post this, but ...

Stolen May 27 11 PM. Montreal area.

Chevrolet EL CAMINO, 1979. Black and Red body with red interior.

Indiana license : 763886 A expired 15-09 2007

Stolen from Garage Street Force, 4740 Cote Vertu, Saint Laurent Quebec.

Montreal Police report event number: 07-080528-002

VIN 1W80J9D506003


If anyone approaches you about parts for this car please post here.

A suspicious green car was seen moments before the theft, by the garage owner and he took a license number down. Anyone know how to do a Quebec license number lookup?

No news yet.

The garage's insurance investigator and Montreal Police are still investigating.

I will try a license lookup on the suspicious car, somehow.

The easiest identification detail of this car is the driver side mirror.

It is bolted on with a base plate from the outside of the body.

I wish I could find a way to identify the seller if they try to part the car out on ebay or here. Any ideas?

I've not been looking for parts or anything but I'll start searching. If it came out west and someone is parting it out or selling it I'll let you know.

I recently found out that the car was stolen right in between heavy security cameras that check traffic in and out of a secure entrance to the local airport. Not good. Does not say much for the police investigation.

Still looking for this car. Still looking up leads. Even if I buy a new Elky I want that one back.

You cannot run. You cannot hide from this mighty, National El Camino Association. And most importantly, you cannot run from me.

There are posts looking for this car on Montreal's craiglist and kijiji sites. Reply to these ads or through this website. There is a reward for this car. Think about it.
