just removed the heater box to lighten up for drag racing purpose's , whats the trick thing folks are doing now adays , are they looping the water pump to the intake or pluggin them off ?

No heater? Plug the lines, dont loop anything.

+1 for plug. unless the heaTER IS ON THAT CIRCUIT IS CLOSED ANYWAY.
