Weekly car shows starting the first week in June. San Diego East county. El Cajon Wednesday 5-8 p.m. La Mesa Thursday 5-8 p.m. Escondido Fri days 5-9p.m. If anybody knows the days for Chula Vista please let me know. Bring out your Caminos.

For Escondido, it's called crusin' grand and it every Friday night till 9:00pm. It starts arond 5:00pm but if you want to park get there early!

Ramon Mainstage nightclub and sports bar has a movie night along with the car show.
4/18/09 They are playing GUMBALL RALLY for FREE :nanawrench: starts at 4pm.
I don't have all the detales on the movies. I think they only once a month.

The show is held on Wednesday. Main st Downtown

La mesa starts June 4th thru Aug. 27th 5-8 pm Thursdays.

Chula vista Blast from the past Tuesday 5-8pm
on 3rd Ave. E-G ST. I don't have a start date.

Looks like there will be a show allmost everyday

This Wednesday is opening nite for the El Cajon show. It starts at 5pm and run to 8pm. Opening nite brings a good crowd .

I put in a new carpet kit over the weekend looks great and smells fresh. :nanawrench:

This Sunday is the Sycaun show, No one allowed in after 9am.

So what happens at these car shows.. I'm a relative kid to this whole scene. I've taken alot of pride in my el camino, but she's been hurtin lately :( . I hope to use this summer to do some work on her.

too bad I didn't know about tonights get together.. however I will be giving my baby a full wash wax and polish tomorrow.. lord knows she needs it.

Dont worrie about missing a show. What happens is you take your baby to the show, let other people look at her, talk to others, ask questions and you can look at other cars. The best part is that you are among other people who love cars.:nanawrench: This is also a very good place to get good info for your 74.

Nope. don't have a 74.. the 74 is for my football number.. I have an 87.. but she is very much a project. I would feel a bit out of place amongst a bunch of nice cars..

I use to feel the same way. Your Camino doesn't have to be perfect it more for fun. I'm not in it for any awards.

The El Cajon show was great. The turnout was unbelievable. I got there at 4pm at the place was allready packed. Hope to see some of you guys at one of these shows.

Well looks like I won't be rolling to any of the car shows.. el camino died today on the way to see my parents..
