Most of you probably never saw my Elky in it's "rat" stages, unless you went to the Super Chevy show last Nov, even Skinyfisher adorned it with fake doggy poo. The only one to see it from start to where it is now is 464elky. Anyway, thought I would share some 1st pics from tonight since it's paint job and other "upgrades" pics from along the way

New Motor, Tranny, and Rear End went in first

Next Job- Pontiac Grand Prix Dash, Bucket Seats, Monte Carlo Console, and now Pontiac Grand Prix Door Panels

FINALLY NEW PAINT!!

Thanks, I will try and get more pics when I have time. Looking back at the before pics I can see a big difference in the shades of black, I love the wet look too.

Looking great and thanks for the accolades, but I can't take credit for the pooh placement that honor belongs to another Senior Citizen that lives on the south left coast. I never tell on anyone so start your investagation from that clue.

It wouldn't happen to start with EOTB would it?

Here is a shot from a cruise in Tony and I went to last night. We have to keep them at least one space apart or they want to sniff each other and fight.

I like the GP dash in it. I owned an '84 'Prix back in them days and always thought it was one of the better, classiest laid out dashes around. Wish I could say the same about the rest of that Pontiac tho... :(

Hey, is someone blaming something on Me ?? Hey Meano, I also saw it at Super Chevy and man what a great job you did on it. Congradulations !!! Been real busy lately. I totally dismantled my 30 ft. by 20 ft. sailing catamaran and a guy from Ottawa, Canada built a trailer, towed it to Key West and towed the boat to Ottawa in 3 days. Good news is that some friends and I bought a Gemini catamaran that I can occasionally use . Tony, what motor is it? Were you thinking before a stroked 383 ? Hope to meet up with you South Fl. guys some time. Hey Skinyfisher, are you still going to Old Town June 7 for the annual show?Been too busy here to make it. Anyone else going?

Lenny that's a yes at this point, leaving Friday some time and meeting about ten other cars and then another 7 coming on Saturday. The weather looks like it's as good as June gets 30% chance of rain. This is the 74 and older annual and next week is the 74 and newer show.

The boat is gone! boy that took some work!! Welcome home

Thanks, I am a Pontiac fan at heart, but I agree with you on the 80's. I was very lucky that the dash face did not have to be modified much to use the Autometer gauges, just some minor trimming and a new paint scheme to get rid of the wood grain

LOL It was all in good fun, I still have things left to do, as Neil would say about another 6-9 yrs should do it. It's a modified 350, I decided to go with power and torque for my 66 Pontiac. I hope we all get a chance to meet up again before the next Super Chevy. If I can ever get a break from travelling for my job.
