Hello to all;
I am changing a bench seat to buckets and console,I will be welding the console and seat brkts in place.
I need to know what should I disconnect to keep from toasting the OBC ect. I'd rather be safe than sorry as they say!! Thanks in advance.

Disconect the battery ,
If you live in a arrid climate (static electricity will be a concern.) so ground your self before you pull the computer from the kick panel unplugging the blue and yellow plugs.
Put it in a static bag if your so lucky or at the least a dry one gallon zipplock and store in a clean dry place.
Dont let any one touch you while you handle it. but once it's bagged your cool.
A small bare wire around your leg and the other end around a nail stuck in the ground should be more than enough. to prevent a spark.
It wouldn;t hurt to ground the car as well
This is a little overkill, but like you said ,better safe than sorry.
If I missed anything Folks, feel free to correct me!!!!!!
