For our first get together I would like to go to Warrens, WI. The Wizards of Rods, who put it together, have offered to leave us a place at their annual show. It is put on in a campground and goes all weekend (Father's Day Weekend). I think that this is one of the best shows around b/c of all the games, cruises, and get togethers that go on all weekend. Tell me what you think and if you want to go tell me so I can email you info to preregister.

Hello-
Hey that sounds like fun. I like the combination of campgrounds and any sort of festival. Can you send me more info?
Hopefully, the car will be ready to cross state lines by then.

Lake County, IL

Good luck on your cruise Laura. Great idea to "piggy back" on an existing show.
Some of the members in Region 2 and NY did the same thing last October. We had a dozen Elky's at the show and it was a great time seeing "El Camino Row".
Also it is a real good idea to start planning now so others in your region can set the date aside.

Iola is a great car show. (I love the car corral) but I wish I had the $$$$. :) Warrens is where Cranfest is held every year. It is almost 13 miles North of Tomah. The campgroung that it is at is very nice. It has two little ponds and alot of things to do.

Is everyone going to meet before hand and do a "run" to the show?
I would like to go if I can know that it is road safe and ready, also
if I can get her in the Elk...

Good luck getting together for this event! Laura, I suggest that you use the Excel file that I sent you with the names of about 112 Region 10 members to send a group email message about this event. Not every member logs into ECC regularly and they might easily miss seeing this post. Also a personal invitation is always nice to receive; makes people feel more like coming if someone takes the effort to include them. I know its a lot of work adding all those names and addresses into your computer, but once they are in there, the second and third mailings are a piece of cake to do. It worked well for us here in Region 2, New England.
Lots of luck. John Harris
