I'm fairly new to this club and am looking for Elky owners who like to connect, work on their vehicles, etc. I have a place in Pahrump but I'm also in the Henderson/Las Vegas area a lot. I've been in other clubs or groups to know that an Elky owner may belong or hang out with some other club or group for support, if only, because he/she may own other types of vehicles. I too would like to make any of those connections if they exist in the Pahrump/Henderson/Las Vegas areas. Thanks. Without getting too personal, I'm 63 years old. I work for the City of Henderson. I've been hanging out with mechanics, restorers, hot rodders, race car builders & drivers since I was a teenager. However, I consider my mechanical level at about someone who knows just enough to get himself in trouble. My goal is to own one of those Choo-Choos if I can find one left on the planet and one I can afford. I have a stock '86 I recently purchased. I also have an '81 Conquista I'm willing to sell. It's all stock, all there, but not running--gummed up carb.

I live about a hundred miles south of you guys in Kingman. don't make it to Vegas that often. If you guys want some sort of get together, I may be up for a road trip.

I'm not new to Pahrump (8 years and counting) but I'm a new member to this site, about a half hour ago.
You won't find too many Elkie owners out here. At least ones that relate to a club or site. But at least you should hang around with some of the other rodders here.
There used to be a cherry '66 owned by one of the guys at Napa auto parts. I don't know if he still has it.
I have a '66 Elkie, too. But right now, it's on blocks, about $3k from being back on the road.
Send me an email or call me. I do custom painting, graphics and pinstriping, so I know a couple of the hot rodders out here.
