The Carlisle 50th Anniversary banquet will take place on Saturday June 27, 2009 at 8:00PM at the Sunnyside Reastaurant in Carlisle. For info go here www.sunnysiderestaurant.com

We have a room reserved for NECOA and quests and can accommodate about 45 people. You don't need to make any dinner choices beforehand as you can order from the regular menu and they will give everyone a separate check. You can't get much easier than that! Anyone can come, the more the merrier.

My Lincoln club as well as many others use this restaurant for their banquets and they are very accommodating and the food is quite reasonable.

There will also be an awards ceremony that evening as well as raffles and other fun stuff. Further details to come.

Just bumping this so you all remember about the awards banquet Saturday night. We'll be presenting the trophies and awards to the winners of Saturday's voting by all El Camino exhibitors.

Search the 50th Anniversary threads and you'll see the awards listings. But basically yes, Carlisle Events judges the cars and there will be awards to the top three in each Generation. In addition all El Camino owners get to vote on the cars in a variety of categories and the winners will be announced at the banquet on Sat. night.
