do all 79 SS Elkys have 2 spd or 3 spd or intermittent wipers?
My was vandalised and the stalk is missing

IIRC, the 79 El Camino didn't have the wiper control on the turn signal stalk. It was located on the lower left corner of the instrument cluster near the headlight switch for both styles of instrument clusters. Two speeds were standard, and intermittant wipers was an option. The turn signal stalk was also used for the cruise control switches.
