Anyone near or in valdosta georgia that would be able to help me restore my car? I love my car but want to get it cleaned up and looking nice. I was browsing through the members gallery and saw what I want mine to look like but i'm not a mechanic and have no idea what to do. I would only screw it up. Here is a link. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I'm in Albany, not too far away. not really close enough to do much, but next time I'm down that way I could look at it with you to get an idea of what all you want to do with it. I'm thinking an LS7, some boost, 250 shot of nitrous, 6speed, GN rear.... wait, 9inch rear. some bigger brakes, better suspension... ya know, the typical stuff....
I'm by no means a professional mechanic, but I know alittle about Elky's.

I'm not sure what all of that stuff is but it sounds cool. I would like to at least have it running in like new condition and have it look like the el camino in the link I provided. as far as performance goes, I know nothing. I will need that explained to me. Any help with restoring my vehicle is appreciated. How far away is albany?

hehe similar but I want mine to look like this. Not sure how the front end looks lower to the ground than the back aside from maybe the ground effects.

Hey I am from Valdosta also...Just bought my first el camino last friday. It is a 78 model with a 350. Motor is torn apart and requires rebuild, gonna do more of a hot rod kinda restore. What year is yours? If you need any help or parts let me know. I am a student at Valdosta Tech for automotive technology.
