Are there any fixes for the rear float sticking on these carbs? Every once in a while it will stick and flood. It is embarrasing when I have to pull over and beat on the carb to get it to let go. :oops: Can I just polish up the rod that the float rides on?

How old is the carb? Maybe time for a rebuild. Or maybe a new needle and seat. Both are rather simple fixes! :cool:

Hi Papa. It's a couple years old, but it never saw any fuel. Just sat in the box. My friend owns a 70 Cyclone, and the carb wasn't big enuff for the insane stock engine he has in it. It's a REALLY cool car for a ford. LOL
