Wanted to share this with you guys...
I know I posted up a while back about everything but life has been busy, and money short. Anyways, I have the interior put back together and wanted to share some pictures with you guys...
I still have to put the side pieces on the seats and other small things but its done for the most part. Not trying to make a "show" car but just trying to make it look respectable if I was to roll up to old town or a cruise in somewhere.
First off... Want to give a big thanks to Neil for trading a nice set of lower door panels with me, they really helped my project come out nice.

On that, I do have the rear upper trim for the headliner, but I need to pick up the 3 clips that hold it in since mine broke coming out

Thats all the interior work... I also put a new Sony Xplod head unit in there. I still have not gotten around to building the subwoofer box and the amp rack in there yet.... Might get that done this weekend since I have 3 days off... Here are the pictures of that

And here are a couple pictures I took of the exterior... I am having a problem with the paint from where the previous owner did it. The primer is good, but it looks that they did not prep it properly after the primer so the paint is peeling in places... Not to the metal and not rusting or anything, just the top coat coming off. Anyways, it still looks decent overall

And a couple days ago I found some rims that will be going on as soon as I get a set of tires to mount on them. The rims are 15". I wanted to keep that "old school" look to it. I was born in '85 and Heather was born in '84 and since the car is a '81 we are really trying to do everything with that "80's 'rock era' " type thinking and trying to design it as if it we were living in the 80's still.
Anyways, here is a picture of what the rims are...

On a side note, while Heather was at work last night some A**hole hit the car and put a dent in the driver's side front fender... Its not super bad, but its not good either. Of course it was a "hit & run".... Guess that gives me more body work to do now....
