I'm getting ready to paint my 83 el camino and i'm not sure of the color . It has a brown dash with light tan seat and door skins ( from previous owner ) . I was wondering what color would look best ? Thanks for any advice you can give me !

Most any color, if done right would look ok. Yellows, browns, tans, reds, some blues, and of course some greens and whites as mine is, with all tan / brown int. except the black buckets. It's all in what you like, and what you want. After all, it's yours and doesn't have to please anyone but you.

I am partial to white.. You could put on some sweet tan accents.

i planned on doing a dark, deep blue to my car when the time comes. I always fancied a dark color, but black seems to generic. Dark Blue exterior, with a light blue interior.

As for a brown interior, you can always go two tone brown. A single 'Chocolate Malt (http://homemadebylisa.com/images/Chocolate%20Malt%20Medium.jpg)' type color, more of a lighter brown, but i dont know if you'd want to take my color choices, :P sometimes im a bit abstract! lol

If you dont mind doing a color change, dark green and tan make a nice combo.

I think a Copper color works well with a light brown or tan interior.
