So I was cruisin' eBay motors when I came upon this:

This has great potential to become an awesome ride.

Then I came upon this:

. . . and I nearly lost my lunch. To each his own I guess . . . . .

The 4x4 is awesome. I believe someone in this group was looking for a winter driver a few months ago, and was considering a 4x4 conversion. I think he was looking for more of a stock ride height rather than this "Bigfoot" look though.

Funny - I liked the 55 Chevy, but not the 4x4. Don't get me wrong - the work involved is obviously quite good, but in my opinion, the big tire thing just looks weird on an Elky.

It seems that the owner also used the factory frame, which I would be inclined to think was way too weak for off-roading - but it does look way better that the Blazer frame bolted to the Elky body that I have seen in similar customs.

I am not a 4x4 fan but that one deffinently has the best looking body over a regular pickup. Of course the elky body looks good on the ground or high in the air. If I was trying the sell it I would have cleaned the interior some.
