Hi, I've got a '75 Sprint but want to change (if possible) the front end.
I want to change the stock front end with a SS front end, but what I know is that there wasn't any SS in 1975.
so what other front end will fit , or are the any other '75 elky's here with another front end ?
or does it take a lot off welding and cutting and stuff like that ?

greetings,
Marcel

I think the only difference was the SS badge on the grill! :?

PaPa John is right my 75 started out as an SS. Grill had a SS badge, plus steering wheel and dash that was it.

I have a 77 GMC Sprint SP (the SS version). The grill is different (slats run up and down) than a std or classic GMC Sprint model. I had a GMC logo in the very middle of the grill (I removed mine) and the SP logo off to the drivers side bottom of the grill. The only other part I have not seen on the std GMC Sprint is the rubber trim around the front and rear bumpers. I ordered my car from the factory. They will add anything that is on the order list to your car if you mark it on the sheet ( bumperett's from the classic to a std or SP) I marked mine as an "SP". You get the swivel buckets, center console, round gauge's, SP Stripe package, etc. It can be hard to find what a real "SP" is unless you had the order sheet there and just mark the one box for SP package. So a real GMC SS would be an "SP".

They must have used the same grill as the ElCamino on it for 77.
