hello all, just joined this forum today. i've been using this site in the past, but never got around to joining it. i own a 1978 el camino that is modded out into a lowrider. alot of mods done to it like '87 front bumper/headlight assembly, monte carlo luxury sport mirrors, 2 pump-4 dump-10switch reds hydraulic suspension system, frame welds and reinforcements at stress points, 14"-100 spoke chrome wheels, 350 engine, dual flowmaster exhausts...and more. i've mainly used the lowrider forum www.layitlow.com, but since it is an el camino, i decided to join this one....hah.
anyway, just dropping by to say hi from san diego! anyone else in sd? just want to see some other elcos on the road, i don;t see too many lately out there in my area. take care all.

thanks for the welcomes! for sure, let us know about any car meets in the area.
i have a concern though, and it may sound stupid, but among exploring the website, i noticed that the majority of the el caminos here are rebuilt into muscle cars and such. in fact, i saw alot of posts of users degrading an el camino because it was modded to a lowrider...which is what i have done. would i be using the correct forum or should i just stick to the lowrider forums? just wondering. later all. 1

Any Elky owner is welcomed at ECC it doesn't matter what your niche is. Just because we may not all agree on the same things doesn't mean we still can't help each other or learn something from each other. Stick with it.
