will it work? does the batt. tray from 87 m/c ss fit a 84 e/c ? thanks carl

thanks Ernie i think i should visit the guy parting off the m/c again.im guessing that there is alot more i could use.while i was there getting the buckets i took the inst. cluster w/ tach.im hopeing it is a direct swap also, ill add the wire for the tach to neg. coil and hope that the poss.& neg are on the circuit board in my 84 e/c.thanks for your help.
