gm tech 11-03-2008, 08:02 PM hi guys, new member here.i have a 86 el camino ss i am doing a tpi swap in.i need to find two things. first is a fuel tank sending unit for a 87 efi with 22 gal tank.second is a good set of runners for a early tpi.can anyone help?maybe you have these or know where i can go.i have called yearone,honest charlies,opg,for the sender with no luck.any help would be great.thanks doug rhimmel 11-03-2008, 09:13 PM As far as the sending unit goes, try www.dixiemontecarlo.com maybe they can help? Any of the OE FI setups I do believe were all "low pressure" TBI for the 4.3L "Z" engines. I'm not too sure what other modifications may be necessary. For the runners you can try hawksthirdgen.com for some OE stuff or possibly summitracing.com or jegs.com for some aftermarket goodies. I hope this helps!
