hi all, new to the board. just wanted to intoroduce myself.
i've had my 73 elky for about 6 years now, and she is in a constant state of 'repair/customization.' everything is on hold now, in need of a garage.

I'm around the st. louis area and i haven't seen too many el caminos around, let alone 4th gens. these 73's are a pain to find parts for, if anybody has any ideas where to find em, lemme know.

Welcome to the site Dez. I agree with parts being hard to find, I've been looking for several items for my 74. Someday I hope to find a decent parts car :)
If you look through all the postings and use the search button on top, you'll be suprised what info is already on this site 8O

It seems that the 4th gen Elkys are one of the hardest to find parts for. I wish I still had the 74 2dr malibu I junked about ten years ago.

Hey im right across the river from u :cool: on the IL side. Dont know if u a member of St. Louis Gateway Area Chevelle Club, theres alot of elkys there to dont let the name fool u. theres a car show on April 24th at HighSchool i our area to. Theres more info on that posted in the Gateway forums.
