After looking for two years for THE 70 I settled for a 72 SS in original condition except for paint. Just got it. First job is to install a radio. Car has an in the dash tape deck(looks original) and looks like it never had a radio, not even an antenna.Suggestions as to a good supplier and any other ideas will be greatly appreciatd.
Car has 62000 miles and is in great shape so I want it to look original.

It would have had a antenna in the windshield if it had one. May not be the original glass. There are a few vendors that make a replacement radio so you do not need to cut the dash. I think mine is from Custom Auto Sound. Got it from NPD if I remember. Most of the repro outfits carry them.

Look at the center of the windshield very closely. You should see two fine wires running from top to bottom, this is the factory radio antenna.
