i have a few issues with my car that i would like to have some expert help on. my elky's 22 year old paint job is officially starting to decay. i need to kno of a reliable place around the 561 that can buff out the rust, prime over, and repaint the whole car. if i could, i'd do this myself, but i don't have the experience or much money for the top of the line. also, i have an exhaust issue. I HAVE NO BOOM! i have a new cherry bomb vortex on it. and the sound is there, but its sooooo quiet... please help me

Is any of the rust clear thru the metal? New metal will have to be welded in if there is. Most of the cost of a paint job is for preparation. Sanding and spot priming with aerosol spray cans can be largely a do-it-yourself job. Even a cheap Macco paint job can be pretty nice if the surface is properly prepared. Suggest you check out a library book or buy one on the subject from an auto parts store.

As I recall Florida has no emissions tests. Replacing the catalytic muffler with a straight pipe might open up the sound some. I am assuming your Elky has a single exhaust.

ya i quoted maaco only to find out all their prices r the same for any vehicle. anyways. and i looked into that whole cut off the cat and it sounds like alot of people agree. ya its a single pipe. when im rich i may hav duals :D
