Here is a quickie one of a take off... No line locks, no trans brake... Just a clean slow take off with a little power brake... You can hear from the engine that I did not even take off very hard...

There are a ton of EL Camino videos on the web. The one thing I do not get is why do a lot of the people in the west like big ass rims/tires. When I mean big I mean 20 and up?

We are getting new rims and tires... Had 15's that we were going to put on, but found some Crager SST 14's that are going on in like 2 weeks. :nanawrench:

Big rims are nice for cruising. My rims are 19" in front and 20" in the back for driving down the beach and a set of welds for killing everything else.

I have had my stock 14 SS rims for 20 years and I have to get new boots so I am putting on some Foose Legend 17 x 8 with some 50 side walls cause I don't like less or as I call them rubber band tires. I will keep the stockers, but I agree bigger than 17 takes a certain look and stance.

^^^^ guess the fully adjustable QA1 coil overs out back and 2" drop spindles in the front help me acheive "that stance" lol

corvino, what engine was in there?

Back when it was just my vette LT1 with bolt ons and tune/stock 4L60E. I finally learned how to call people out who claim they have a Vette LTX motor by the way. The assembly rotates opposite of all other LTX motors. Thats completely useless information but maybe you can call someone out one day...

Anyways, now my elky is rockin a LT4 383... Built with the best of the best...
